| I don't know how many of you have had any experience with the Ultimate Seat, but I have owned 3 of them. In my opinion, they are the best seats I have ever owned. I post this because I just got an email from the Owner Des, and he has emailed me the news that indeed they will be making a Cross Country Tour seat as soon as he can get a bike to start on a prototype.
Here is his email to me today:
Hi Wally, we are going to make a seat set for the Cross Country and will begin the design and pattern making as soon as I can find a bike to borrow in the Daytona area. We need the bike in our shop for a few days at a time over a 8 to 10 week period. We also need a stock seat set for the base pans which get destroyed in the pattern process. We will be building the Vegas and Jackpot seats also. Thanks Des
I just thought I would let those interested in another alternative for the seat. I know that I will probably wait and purchase a seat from them.

Posts: 619 Southeast Iowa | Good to know. I just bought a CC Tour and believe it or not the seat is significantly smaller than my wifes 2010 Cross Roads. I came off a Vision and knew it would be smaller but I didn't think it would be smaller than a Cross Roads. At 6'8" and 300 lbs the size of the seat matters to me. I will be in the market for something with a little more depth and width before riding season rolls around again. |

Posts: 27 Northbridge, MA | Hi Vic, I have a new 2011 X-Country w/a stock (and way too poofy for me) seat. I was @ my local Victory dealer last weekend and saw a much more streamlined seat on a new X-Roads. Is yours thin like that? If so and you are interested in a trade, look me up!!! |
