Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | First mod on the wife's new 2012 Cross Country tour. Many more to come. We swapped the stock chrome Gauge trim rings for these custom painted ones to match her Sunset Red. Looks damn sharp and now her bike wont look like anyone else's. Cant wait for the rest of our stuff to show up at our local dealer.

Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | I got them from a guy who had an AN CC and had them custom done to match his sunset red color AN. I think he decide to change the paint scheme due to a laydown or accident not sure. So there a one off item. Which i like allot. |

Havasu, AZ | I like it too. I'm going to copy this idea when I paint the sides of the chin fairing. Nice touch. |

Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | Good luck BBob.... Yeah I was thinking of doing the same and have the sides of her chin fairing painted to match as well. Are they difficult to take off BBob?? |

Posts: 639 Tri Cities, WA | It is very difficult to get the paint to match the OEM 12 XCT Sunset Red. The clear coat has a slight tint built into it to keep the paint from fading and is almost impossiable to match. dont ask how I know I just know from experince... BBob let me know how it goes for matching for you. |
