I have a white 2012 CCT. I have acquired a couple of rock chips so I purchased Victory touch up paint from the Victory dealer where I bought the bike. This paint does not match well. What they sold me is number P566 New Pearl White and it came 2 bottles to a box but both bottles are the same. Since this paint has metalflake in it wonder if there should be a base paint and a top coat? Anyone had better with white touch up paint?

Thanks,

Sunman

I had the same disappointment with the Victory pearl white touch up paint. Overpriced and does not match well at all. Both bottles are exactly the same paint not a base coat and finish coat.

Try searching on amazon. That's where I got mine. Base, pearl and clear. All in one package.

I have used this paint in the past on vehicles and motorcycles. Good paint and always a good match. Maybe this will help you out.

Remember, pearls are always very hard to match due to the special scheen. Many factors play into pearl, mix, shake time and technique all play a major role.

I contacted Color rite about getting the pearl white base only. They don't offer it alone but suggested using any white paint as a base then coat with the Vic pearl paint.
I did it and it looks pretty darn close to factory job. I'm holding off on the clear coat until later.

This is an old blog but just get the paint number and go to a auto parts store that works with body shops they can make it up for you for around $20 depending on the color. Remember to get clear coat also
