| I have a 2012 XCT with 8,300 miles. The rear tire is fairly well worn down. What mileage are people getting from the E3s?
Thanks,

| I just turned 10000 miles on my 2012 ABS XCCT this last weekend, bought it May 22 2013. The E3 is almost gone maybe can get 2000 more but would hate to ride in rain with it. I've never liked the E3 so am not sure what tire to put on. I've ran CT's on my 05 GL1800 so may try one on the Vic as it uses same size tire as Wing. I also like that I can get a run on flat with them. Bike is still all stock except for some chrome. |

| 8500 on the original E3 which I consider little more than something to separate the rim from the pavement.
Currently running Avon Cobras (which I used on my 08 Vision for 40k miles). Handling is much better, I use my tires from edge to edge with most of my riding two up. My wife has no problem with lean angles.

| Thanks guys for the responses. I ran E3s on my Harley and I thought they were a very good tire but the mileage has not been good on the CCT. May try something else this time. I assume everyone is still running radials? I seemed to get better miles out of bias ply tires.

I'll be lucky if they make it to 8K. I'm dissapointed with the mileage. We ride a lot through the mountains of in N. Georgia, TN., and N.C.
The Metzeler 883's got 11-12K on my Kawasaki 1600. |
