| The past couple of rides the weather has been cold enough that I used the heated grips. The problem is once the throttle side grip heats up the throttle will not go back to idle when I back off the throttle. I have to physically turn the throttle back. If I am going down the road and take my hand off the grip the throttle will stay right where it is. This happens on low or high heat. The first time this happened it was pretty exciting since I was coming up to a stop sign. Anyone had this problem and if so what was the solution? I have not called my dealer yet to see what they say.
Thanks,

| I had the same problem. The chrome end of the grip on mine did not have enough space between the cap and the rubber grip. I assume that when the grip heated it expanded slightly as to bind on the cap. I took a screwdriver and opened the space between the grip and the cap by another 1/16". This worked for me. |

| I had the same problem ,just open the gap between the rubber grip and the chrome bar end and you will be ok. |

| Thanks guys for the responses. I will try opening the space up and see if it solves my problem.
Thanks again.
