| I did the Summit Racing glass packs. Removed the stock mufflers. The dealer had gutted the mufflers, called them "something" mufflers(loud). I took the stock mufflers cut them open. Set the glass packs into the stock housing and welded it back up. Much quieter, and it ran me only about $50 plus my labor. A while back I had removed the left side muffler and installed a cap on the end of the crossover tube. I had to make a bracket to let the left side saddlebag sit on. Bike is quieter than with the gutted mufflers, and about 20 lbs. lighter without the left side muffler. |
