Any help would be greatly appreiciated and one other thing you guys might get a kick out of she is an employee for the Motor Company and is buying her 2nd Vic. |

| I have lowered my XR with an adjustable link. Found this on E-Bay, which is a little better than the on I have.

Posts: 3 Maplewood, MN United States | I had an adjustable link installed on my XCT and had it set for a 2" drop. I lowered it afterwards to a 3" drop but that was too much as I was scraping my pipes on nearly every curve so I brought it back up. I am only 5'-3" and my best investment for being able to sit on the bike flat footed was the lowering link and thick soled boots. |

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | mgoblue, the same lowering link that fits the Vision fits the CC as well. You should be able to find several out there on the net. I still have mine from my old Vision but don't plan on using it on the CCT. And yes, you do have to replace the kickstand if you lower it more than an inch. I have a pic in my gallery of the adjustable link that I have. If your interested, I'll let it go cheap as it is just sitting in my shop. |
