Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | For the most part, that has been the standard. Victory introduced the cast frame with the Vision. Now it's in the Cross bikes, and Indian has gone to a cast frame. The steel frames tend to flex on the heavier bikes, whereas the case frames are rigid, which is a plus. On a heavy steel frame bike you might get the bike "walking" in a hard turn, the Vision will feel like it's riding on a rail. Of course, everything is also dependent upon the skill of the rider, but I was able to add 10+ mph in the twisties immediately with the Vision. I had an 84 GL1200 that usually kept me a little skittish in the twisties and heavy traffic.
