| Hello brand new here and looking to purchase a 2010 XC with $4000 worth of Engine Mods, which is a nice bonus! I would never drop that myself on a bike so the idea of getting it on a bike already done I love! the bike is priced right with depreciation of 4 years
My dilemma is I can get a 2013 demo unit with 500 miles for $13500! which from what I've seen is a good buy yes??
So my main question is were there substantial factory improvements from 2010 to 2013 that I should consider to sway me to buy the stock newer bike and at most I would put slip-on's on it.
I did read somewhere that Victory did a big change on the Tranny in 2011, can anyone comment on that who owns a 2010 or 2011?
Thanks Everyone Rick |

Posts: 92 Chandler, AZ | I had a 2011 XC - 11K miles over 1.5 years. I DO think the changes made on the '11 models were significant enough that I personally would go with the '13 over the '10. There was the re-designed transmission and the claimed 66% reduction in driveline lash, which I did feel was very noticeable over the pre-'11 models. Not to say there still is not room for improvement with the tranny and driveline on them, but I think you'd be happier with the '13. I myself also really like the blacked-out look on the '13 - the red one and the orange one, but that is just personal preference. |

| Wow, last year I could have written this same thread. I went with the 13 and love it. Mine had 500 miles too. Now it has 4800. I did not think much of the ABS till a car in front of me slammed on its brakes one day on my way to work. All I can say is they help.
