| Has anyone just clipped the long antenna instead of spending $35.00 on a short antenna. Wondering if it still works. |

Posts: 37 SE Florida | The wire length in a radio antenna is tuned to a specific length ether full, half, or one quarter wavelength for FM this should be around 28" so just shortening the antenna should have some impact on its reception I would recommend just getting a shorter antenna even though the antenna is shorter the wire in it should be one quarter wavelength long. |
