Thanks! It actually looks MUCH better than the pictures show. Tough to see all the detail and what it looks like against the paint without full sun.

Looks really nice, good luck.
Mine came in today and was just uncrated. It's black too.
I'm thinking it needs some kind of striping but not sure where or how much.
Fairing, bags, tank??? red, white, silver, multi???

Looks Great! I would do the Fairing, front fender, tank and bags in at least 2 colors. Personally I like flames and would do a lighter color on the outside with a darker color on the inside to give it a "shadow" look. But that's just me, there are so many ways you could go that I'm sure it will look great.

I have attached a few pictures of my new xc. As a new memeber to the forum I was looking for some feedback on what everyone thinks of the changes I've made. I waited several months for the bike but it seemed worth it after getting my first look at it.

I think I have it now. The bike has Ness evil 7 wheels (21"& 18"), rotors and pulley. I also changed the engine covers, mirrors, grips, antenna. Put the chrome tops on the crash bars and added higway pegs. The big thing that needs changed is the factory exhaust (stage 1 didn't change the sound much) and I'd like to change out the forks. All in all though I was pleased with how it turned out so far. Let me know what you think.

All Victory's are metric, always have been. Most mirrors are made to fit HD's (standard) but will fit any metric with the purchase of the correct stud. The top of the stud will be standard (screws into the mirror) and the bottom of the stud will be metric (screws into the bike)

Big Vic, thanks for the info. In that my experience with Victory is limited to my recently purchased XC, I've still alot to learn. By the way, I've had my passenger back rest and luggage rack on back order for three months. They keep moving the delivery date back, is this standard policy?

It seems to be that way when they launch a new bike...........it has not always been like this, I first noticed it with the Vision. I waited for months to get all the parts I ordered for my bike. I was told so many "due dates" that they never hit that I finally quit asking. On top of that some were damaged or broke when they came in. There is no doubt that this is an area of opportunity for Victory as it is a major source of customer dis-satisfaction and frustration. I fail to understand why they just don't come out and tell you the part will not be available for 3-4 months if that is the case. That way if it is available earlier than that you will be happy instead of pissed. The only bright side is the bikes launch in the fall so hopefully they have their shit together by spring.

Big Vic, love the striping on your CC. That is awesome!!!

I've got the Skull bike. Didn't know if I would like it or not by just looking at the pics, but after seeing it in person I loved it.

The day I went to the dealer to trade I was planning on getting a solid Black CC, but they had sold it just 3 days before and that was the last one they had. That was my lucky day though because this one came in on the truck while we were there. One look at it and I said lets right up the papers.  I haven't gotten to take any decent scenery pics yet, but I got some while in the crate and a few after I got it home.

Hope the pics work.

Just got my XC about 6 weeks ago. Loving every second of it. Not sure if you ever upgraded your pipes but I got RPW pipes on my XC and a friend told me quote "It sounds like a V-8 engine at idle and a Dragster when you leave me behind". I think you would be pleased with them.

Great setup you got going. Really loving your wheels and rotors man. I am craving un upgrade on mine, gotta wait a little longer though.

11 yrs., many bloody knuckles, a divorce, and over $40k later my one-off, home built 1989 H/D Softail Custom was only worth $5k in trade... and I was happy to get that!
She was my baby but was only good for one thing: Park it at the local biker bar & watch people oogle at it. It made me proud when people asked "Is that a West Coast Chopper" or "...OCC" or "...Big Dog" and I could tell them I made it out of an existing H/D, which seemed to confuse some dudes obviously to young to know what "chopper" meant in the 1st place...
CHOPPER definition: Take a perfectly good bike & CHOP off everything you don't need. Like fenders, directionals, horn, mufflers, etc... then stretch it and lower it until it is the most ill handling, uncomfortable, but hottest thing on 2 wheels!
So as I said, unfortunatly it was about as good to ride as, like my g/f put it, "It's like running a marathon in 6 inch pumps, might be sexy but it's gotta hurt!"... truer words have never been spoken.
So... out w/the old & in w/the new!!!

I know this sounds stupid, but how do you downsize your pictures in order to get them in the attachment on this forum? I haven't had any luck getting my pictures into the attachment in spite of my best efforts.

What device are you using? I have android tablet. Had to download photo app that resizes pics for upload to web. Does not affect original picture. Once its resized follow instructions from this site. Don't feel bad took me a couple trys.

Just pictures I have on my desktop pc that I took on our digital camera. My Pictures in the Windows XP program doesn't seem to have any kind of control to manipulate the picture size or the KB data size. This forum's server also doesn't have such an app either apparently.

Two months into owning & riding it I can fully agree to enjoying my Cross Country every bit as much as you do. My modifications as of now include D&D Boss slip-ons with stage one filter & reflash as well as a 7 Jurock 14" tinted flip windshield. I am now considering a Lock & Ride Trunk for it so my wife can have a backrest and for more storage when we travel.

Bike looks great! Really like the windshield
Is that a Clock Werks windshield? Are you looking over the top? Are you happy with it? How about buffet?
