I'd really like to have a windshield bag so I could access items while still in the saddle. Does anyone know of a windsheild bag that will work on the XC windshield. Seems a little limiting for attaching a bag.

I would measure the area where you want to put one, then open up a Dennis Kirk or J&P Cycle catalog to see what available. Pick the one you think has the best shot of working for you and order. When package arrives follow steps below.
1. Install per directions or per necessity. Smile, pat yourself on the back and post pics and info here.
or
2. Frown, cuss, examine what didn't work then remove and send back.
Repeat until #1 is achieved or you give up.

I mounted a bag on a conceled bracket on my Kaw Vulcan that worked great. Without having looked over the XR too closely, I am just guessing it should work as well. Now the XC, not too sure how I am going to do that.

I'll try to get a pic posted of the bag soon.

Guys

You might be interested it this.

It's made for the Vision but it might fit the XC/T. You might like to drop them an email and ask.

I had the Dragon Bobs bag on my Vision. I highly recommend it. can't see it working on the CC.

I used the Kuryakyn #4178 on my 2010 XC, behind a 7Jurock 13" light smoke windshield. Remove top two wind shield bolts, loosen bottom two. Center it, mark it, drill it, and reinstall the windshield bolts. It is a Tri-pouch design, enough room for wallet, cell, earplugs, etc.

The curve of the bottom of the bag, matches up well with the curve above the tach and speedo.

I have had some email correspondence (and emailed him some photos of my 2012 XCT dash/windshield area) with Bob. He says he has a bag that will fit, and can mounted using screws or velcro. They come in either leather or waterproof marine vinyl.

Looking at my dash area, just don't see how you could put much in it with the small clearance between the dash and windshield.
