That is costly, I want one as well. The cheapest one I found was on eBay $1450.00.
If you find one cheaper let me know I want one.

Talk to your dealer. I did. Ask him to match the price. Some will, some won't. Worth a shot. I got the one for my 2011 for $1400.

I did a lot of thinking before purchasing the VXCT. I chose it because it came with the trunk and after all the numbers were crunched, I was able to get it at virtually the same price as a XC.

Victory, as many know, ensures that they continue to profit from their parts. They do a good job of bundling things you want while making you pay out the nose for things that you want to add on later (trunk, exhaust...etc.). My trade off for the XCT was that I could not get the two tone Red/Silver. So, I opted for Red and have put on some Gold striping to make it not such a blank canvas.

Brings me to another point. The Vision is such a wonderful blank canvas. Lots to do to make that bike stand out. The XCT on the other hand takes a LOT of trial and error to ensure you don't over do something and make it look gaudy.

As mentioned earlier, you can find trunks...but finding it at a good price will be a challenge. Leave a note at your local bike bone yard. You know that eventually someone (sadly) will trash their bike and you can pick up a trunk that way. I found a Vision saddle that I bought at my bone yard for 70 bucks. I had NO issues cutting it apart and making it look the way I wanted because I didn't spend an arm or leg for it.

Good luck!

Try Ken's Motor sports in Wyoming. I think the price was around $1,450.00

Prices are going up soon so if you've been thinking about getting one; now is the time. Try Kate at Honda of Toledo.

instead of the victory tour pack why not try a road king trunk? I saw one at Thunder Beach on a CR. It looked pretty good. Scootworks makes a tour pack, I have seen a few large leather tour packs that looked really nice and under $400. google it and they will come.
