Took delivery yesterday of my new 2011 Cross Country w/Tour Pack. It is an awesome looking bike and if the ride home was any indication - it will be a great bike. That being said it will take a bit to get used to - It is SO much larger than my last bike.

One question? Anyone purchased the engine guard covers to block the wind, rain? and if so - do they work well - mainly asking how well they fit/stay on and how much noise - if any - they generate.

Thanks in advance!

Congrats on your new ride 7of9. The Hard lowers work very well. Not sure about the soft ones for the XC. My wife who is only 5'4" rides the new 12 CCT and really loves it over her HD Street Glide she just sold. Enjoy it and take pics to share with us.

Congrats... I had the soft lowers on my 2011 XC. They work fine but need to come off when the weather warms up or you will roast your lower body.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes and the info on the soft lowers - I like to ride as much year round as possible so I will probably pick some up this fall. If the weather holds this weekend (supposed to rain tomorrow here) I am taking some pics on Sunday to post. Ride safe!

Soft lowers work really well and are a snap to put on and take off. My friend uses his for cold weather and riding in rain. They don't take up much room and never leave his bike.
