My CB would cause radio/cb display to lock up everytime I pressed "PTT" to transmit. Others had problem with transmission distance being extremely short. Several of us have resolved the issue by installing a smaller washer that holds antenna and coaxial cable together. It seems the washer was contacting Coaxial cable shielding to cause all our problems. My CB works great since making the minor repair. Others have reported on this forum their CB transmitted well once making this simple repair.

Several of us have taken our bikes to dealer service departments. Service departments contacted Victory, but Victory wouldn't help them solve the problem. Victory told my dealer "we don't make the CB".

I have posted 5 times during the past 3 weeks on Vic's FB page. They have ignored my posts. If you have had CB problems that were solved with this simple repair &/or didn't get help when your dealer contacted Victory about the problem with your CB then please take a moment to add a comment about it here

Please only those who have actually had the problem or helped solve the problem should comment on my FB post.
Thanks,
Ken

BTW, my bike is '12 XCT sunset red

One other person has commented about his CB experience on Victory's Face Book wall post of mine. If you have had CB problems or helped troubleshoot and fix a CB transmission problem, then please comment about it on the post I placed on Victory's Face Book wall at this link http://www.facebook.com/#!/victorymotorcycles/posts/460919519954
