Subject: Clutch Basket

2010 XC with 10,560 miles, possible bad clutch basket, does anyone know the maxium and minium thickness of the clutch plates? and why would they wear down so quickly, I dont ride hard.

I do not know the thickness of the clutch plates but I do know if the clutch is adjusted wrong you can excelerate the wear. My wife bought a brand new Rebel (when she was learning to ride) and the clutch went out at 1000 miles. The dealer took full responsibility and repaired the bike, gave us a loaner, and 100% of my purchase price back on trade when she went up to a 750 (1 month later)
