lake eufaula ok.
my dealer told me that if i mounted a car tire on my 2012 x/r it would void my warranty anybody ever run a c/t on theirs and is there a way to get in touch with the factory to get a print out on the reason it might void my warranty i ,ve ran a c/t on goldwing,s harley,s even a 650 burgman the mileage those tire,s would get on the rear was 3 or 4 time,s that of m/t tire,s handeled pretty good too not to mention a softer ride

It seems there always looking for a way to get out of the warranty. It's probably true. I waited until the warranty was up. Haven't looked back sense.

There's nothing a car tire would affect that could possibly void the warranty.

In order for any modification to void your warranty they have to prove that the modification is the direct cause of the failure of the part(s) in question. If your engine would happen to sieze up it's pretty hard to prove that a car tire caused that but a non OEM oil filter--possibly. That is the dynamic. Different States have different laws that pertain to this however there is also Federal laws that protect consumers.
