My 2013 XCT stock heated grips are too hot to use even on low heat setting. Cannot use them for more then 20 minutes at a time even with heavy gloves. My previous bike had aftermarket grips with variable settings and never a problem. Any suggestions? Anyone tried a resister to lower the voltage at the grips?
Thanks

After I bought my 2012 XCT, I had the same problem when I put them on "high", (way to hot), but on "low" I have no issues.

I just installed some on my '13. I have not had a chance to ride because of the rain but will later this week. I have always had an issue with cold hands no matter what type of gloves I have used so I am interested to see if the grips are too hot.

Mine where wrong from the factory. I had high and no low at all. Took it back to the dealer and they wired it correctly.
