I got this idea from seeing a picture of an Indian with chrome trim outlining the windshield and really liked it. I found some U shaped chrome trim (similar to car door trim) and it works real well, I did it to my 2003 Indian and now on my XRC. It comes in a roll and I had enough to do both bikes.
Now, this is probably not for everyone.....some may find it distracting. Personally I don't notice it when driving and love the look. Here is a link to the trim if interested=

I've never seen that done before and it's not for me. But, if you've got a bike you've got to make it your own.
