I've read several threads on bluetooth, is there any device out there that I can bluetooth my iphone5 using Pandora or just listening to my music with out having to plug my phone into the 3.5mm jack? and being able to control music.
And not using any GPS device, just simple installed of the device and have the ability of Bluetooth. 2010 VV, Thanks

Try the SENA SMH10 system. It can be linked to any bluetooth system. It really does not care where the bluetooth signal is coming from once you establish the link.

Thank you for the reply, but all I want is to have the ability to bluetooth to my radio, just like in my auto I just pair and listen to music without helmet just through my sound system.

Victory sells the Sena dongle and cable to do this.

If you just want to listen to Pandora on the Vision sound system, you have a few simple options, I would think in order of preference:
1. Buy the iphone/ipod cable and plug your iphone into it, this will also charge your iphone. Then play Pandora (volume control only) or, play the music on your iphone and control tracks and volume from the handlebar.
2. Plug your phone into the 3.5mm jack and play Pandora.
3. Buy a bluetooth receiver and plug it into the 3.5mm jack, sync your iphone to it. This will allow you to play pandora without physically connecting your iphone.

I am doing the opposite, I have a bluetooth transmitter. I use it to transmit music from the bike's sound system or ipod to my SENA headsets.

Ljurgens, do you know what type or where to find a bluetooth receiver that will connect to my 3.5mm jack? that will not require to be charged? Thx.

I have also looked into the Sena Dongle and Cable but when I pick the year for my bike 2010 it tells me "will not fit".

Forget that will not fit BS. There is a thread right here on this forum in the DIY section that lets you install a bluetooth for yourself. Have a look here http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=10099&po...

Re-reading your oiginal post, if you want to be able to control the music on your ipod/iphone, you must get the victory cable. It will charge your iphone/ipod and allow you to control the music tracks and volume and mute from the handlebar controls.

If all you want to do is send a music stream to the bike, and control mute/volume, then the following might work for you:

  1. This usb powered BT receiver looks like it would work for what you are looking for. You would plug it directly into a usb adapter like this dual usb adapter that would itself plug into your cigarette lighter port in the little glove box.
  2. Then plug the included 6 inch audio cable into 3.5mm jack and you should be good to go, powered by the bike whenever you turn the key on. You might want to get one of these right angle audio cables to help keep the cables flush inside the little glove box.
  3. Sync your phone to the receiver and play your music.

Be aware though, that when using the 3.5mm input, you only get volume/mute control, nothing else.

Is there any issues with clearance at all when the door is closed?

Can't believe there would be, that dongle is only about an inch and a half long after inserting it into the charger. should clear no problem.

It fits fine. However you may want to get a short USB jumper or a right angle 3.5 adapter just to make it a little easier to organize. I'm probably going to get one or both.

These are the two adapters. the 3.5 ljurgens posted is male to male and you are going to need a male to female adapter.

6" 3.5mm right angle
6" USB male to female extension

EDIT

or better yet use this for the 3.5mm

Has anybody done this with an 08? I purchased the above bluetooth receiver and a powerlet to usb and you cannot hear the music due to the electical humming? I don't really want to change the plug out for a regular outlet. Just wanted a simple way to Bluetooth music from the non Apple phone.

Is that dual usb for a car charger or a powerlet outlet?

The bluetooth adapter works very well for a cheap solution. I for one am glad you shared this a while back.

I believe this what you're looking for the powerlet. http://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Hella-Socket-Charger-SatNav/dp/B00...

Tried that it put a strain on the glove box lid and broke the tab. I am looking at another powerlet to usb but have to add a noise filter because it is making too much of a humming noise.

I have a 2013 VV, I use a ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000 - Wireless Bluetooth Music Interface Adapter for Car Audio Integration, go to Amazon and get one, hooks to the audio cable from Victory. After you Pair with your phone you can see whats playing and control the unit with the handle bar or Radio controls. I had one for years, used the iPhone 5 and now the 6S Plus,
