Pulling the trigger and buying a 2015 Magnum, trading in my 2012 Roadglide.
A friend bought a new XC in 2012 and like the smoother ride over bumps ect.
One thing that's a concern is what used Vic's are selling for,a 2011 XC with
53k just sold for $9200. My HD has 36k on it so my bikes aren't garage queens.
But the wife can't ride the HD cause the ride is very harsh so at least I will be
able to take her riding and my back will like it as well.

i *think* you will find that Victory riders tend more toward people who buy the bike to ride it until it is completely used up, rather than even considering resale value. Certainly that's not true of all Vic owners but probably more than for HDs, whether garage queens or bikes ridden far. Anyway, my suggestion is just that you consider whether resale value is really so important, if you can get a lot of enjoyment out of riding the bike for all it's worth.

I don't really know the direct answer to your question. My 2012 Cross Country Tour is my first Victory, now with 39,000 miles on it, and I still like it as though it were new.

Happy riding!

When I purchase a motorcycle new or used I buy it because it is what I want(hopefully). I really try not to consider the resale value to much, or I would not buy anything new as far as vehicles go. Once you take it off the dealers lot it is used. I figure that I am buying it to enjoy the new ride, to escape work, home, etc. and to just enjoy going on trips by myself or with friends. Find the bike you want, try to get a good deal, then enjoy it. After 75K or 100K maybe get rid of it.
