I fell in love with this bike the first time I laid eyes on it. I finally found my pictures mixed in with the childrens pictures for some reason. I think we all can see bits and pieces transforming from this bike to the Vision, XC and Chieftain, Roadmaster.
It had thumb print locking saddlebags. As you can see wired intercom. I like the dash but I would like a tach, gas gauge, oil pressure on the right side.

I think it was a one off prototype.

The bike is very impressive in person. It was on display at one of the AVR's and the description on it said it was selectively shown and the response was very positive.

Duh, just realize the subject line. It's a beautiful bike and I see the traces of the other bikes. It's a good thing that it didn't go to market, because Indian couldn't use freight train comparison for the Chieftain.

Looks like something Honda or Yamaha would've came up with for the red Power Ranger. I can see why it didn't go into production.

A prototype serves its purpose if it gives the engineers involved a glimpse of what their idea might end up looking/working like. It seems to me that some of the ideas expressed on that bike are now better developed on modern Victory and Indian bikes. Look at the turn signals as an example then look at modern Indian turn signals. As always, the engineers learned and improved their design by seeing how it would turn out on a real vehicle.

Considering that it was created 14-15 years ago, it was very cutting edge.
