New Orleans, La, | Well today at the Gator Nationals in Gainesville, Fla. Matt Smith was the number 1 qualifier and in round faced off against the number 16 qualifier his wife Angie Smith. Matt Smith broke in round 1 handing the win to his wife. Angie Smith who bowed out in round 2 to event winner Karen Stoffer on her Suzuki. Not the way you want to start but no.1 qualifer is something even if the only thing Victory is the writing on the side. |

New Bohemia, VA | Sucked a rag left in the intake. Obvious sign of over-anxious. I know the Smith's will do well, Matt comes from a racing family and met them when he was in high school and I was an Army recruiter. I heard that Victory is building an engine to compete later in the year. Polaris now knows pushrods thanks to Indian. I won't be surprised to see Indian on the track next year. |
