I find it hard to believe that paint application is still considered rocket science. When I was a kid decades ago, I helped paint my brother's car in a Mercedes repair shop. They had filtered air/clean room paint booths with arrays of baking lamps 4 decades ago.

Did industry forget about filtered air and curing paint after decades of experience ?

they don't use old fashion paints now days. There is new EPA friendly paints and there done by a robot. Yes they use a oven to dry water base paints

According to the article, Victory decided to nix the baking in leu of blowers (e.g. more dirt, worse finish).

Indian roadmaster has 5 paint options. Go to specifications and the list is a mile long with a lot of detail. Pick any Victory and look at specs, hardly any description. The Indians still have electronics the Vic's don't.

Test rode the 2016 line up at the rally. Transmission is really good. Click, click, click up and down through all the gears. The radio reception and sound quality on the Vision is really good. The funnest bike to ride was the Vegas. Ergonomics were incredible. The one thing I noticed on the Vegas and Hammer S, was no vibration, whatsoever The Magnum was really comfortable and the sound is something Vision riders dream of. Also no vibration whatsoever .
