| First, I would like say hello from MO. Just gave up my BMW K13S for an 11 XR and I can't wait to learn more about these.
Tried direct wiring my Zumo 550 through the Hwy lights. GPS worked fine as long as the lights were off. Turn the lights on, GPS goes off. Baffled. I look forward to anything you guys can offer.

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Dumb question... is your highbeam on? I think the auxilliary lighting gets switched off when the bike's highbeam is activated.
Beyond that, could you have wired the gps to the wrong side of a DPDT switch?
It might be worth getting the aux power outlet for the hardbags and wiring the gps to that instead.
Just throwing that out there. |
