The Vision motor is not really a low rpm motor and will freely rev up to 5500 rpm and beyond in some cases. On the highway at 50 mph in 5th, close to 2500 rpm, with the turbo technology of today, whacking open the throttle at the rpm is going to give you a torque curve that goes straight up. That is what's going to launch you for your two lane highway pass, for a touring motorcycle, that's what I want. For a line launch, hold the throttle at 2500, and don't drop the clutch, get it off the line then dump it. There is a learning curve when you have a turbo bike, but it is a smile generator, just remember to hang on!

How ugly would a turbo look on a vision and or will the body work be a major obstruction ?

I've never ever had a problem passing anyone on a highway , even while riding 2 up and I don't even have cams .... here is the torque curve of a stock vision with just mufflers and fuel controller
