Don't know of one for sure but it seems like the next logical step. I would be surprised if a trunk and hard lowers are not available for 2011.

All the dealers I talk to keep saying 2011. One of them said he saw the prototype trunk at the dealer show where the XR and XC were unveiled.

I hope it's true I have some HD friends that love the engine in my Vision but the styling is just a little much for their taste. They are more interested in the XC but coming from ElectraGlides they want a tourpak/trunk for extra storage........ it could be a big plus for Victory sales.....

Look under the Vision Riders section. Post: Polaris concept survey. A really cool picture of a XC bagger with trunk and hard lowers, looks like a winner in the touring wars if it's ever produced................

If it is like any other Polaris accessory, it will be vastly overpriced. I would consider a Scootworks Supertrunk III if they would just make a rack for the XC. I emailed them about making a rack for the Cross Roads & Cross Country. We will see. Their racks are only $250 whereas Kewlmetal wants $450.

That's ok. I currently have the Corbin trunk on my Roadliner. I can get two half helmets in there along with gloves, glasses etc. The hinge hardware scratches up the helmets though. I was looking for something bigger, more boxy shaped. I just need to sell the Roadliner so I can buy the Cross Country.

My dealer said 2011 but I really don't know if he knows what he's talking about. However having said that I do believe it will be available in 2011 I just hope they keep the price at the Vision trunk point. If you look at the survey hard lowers and a trunk add $4500 to the price of a Cross Country.

I agree that's why I hope they keep it in line with the Vision trunk. However the survey does not say anything other than "Cross Country Tourer". What I mean is it could also include items such as heated seat, heated grips, hydraulic clutch, movable windshield ect. That would be more in the line with the pricing than not. But it would still put it at the same price as a Vision.

I really like the Corbin Streamliner style, they also have a larger model. Both are shapped in a way to compliment the XC/XR design. Now, I'm sure that the new trunk, if ever released for the XC/XR will be well below the $4,500 price tag. I know that Polaris has taken improving the Mexican government's global position; therefore, it will more than likely be about $2.99. Via Mexico, put more Americans out of work!

I was told it is an option. The bracket is quick release the same as the present backrest however there is also an added support that you need to remove the rear fender to install.

In the 2011 Pure Victory Gear cataloge the trunk is $2024.99 Canadian $ plus $119.99 for the upfit kit and $49.99 for the lock kit. Maybe a trailer would be cheaper.

Here's some photos of the Cross Country trunk. Contrary to someone's post, the trunk comes off easily in seconds. Just disconnect the wire harness under the left side panel and then list the 2 levers on each side of the rear fender and it comes right off. At Sturgis, Victory was quoting $1500 for the trunk (US dollars). I don't think there was any other parts required to fit it.

When looking to order the trunk I was told by my dealer that testing had showed some stress on the two pins the trunk sit on so an added brace has to be fitted under the fender to the 2010 models to use it. I assume thats what the upfit kit in the catalogue is.

Wow! The trunk is well designed, not the boxy look. Has running light and speakers added also. It really complements the bike! Well done, Victory! I don't give complements lightly. Would like to see a trunk organizer added.

I just purchased my Cross Country yesterday at Arlen Ness. We've been scoping the Cross Country for awhile and we stopped to check out new product and there was a black '10 with the trunk. My wife and I sat 2 up in the showroom (we'd been out on the CC and Vision before but not with the trunk) and she said, "Let's get this." Hey, the boss is the boss!

So you all know, I'm coming out with our new CC/CR trunk luggage racks this coming week like the ones we offer for the Visions, the Winged V and the Retro. Here's a pic of the new CC/CR passenger backrest racks currently at the chromer, as well as pics of these on the Vision trunks. Don't settle for cheesy sub-quality OEM racks made by Kuryakyn in China for Vic with terrible chrome. Instead get yourself a top of the line, Made in the USA, product with the best chrome finish you have EVER had. right here at CycleOps USA.
