I saw the price of it on their website, 1749.00. on the other hand if you buy a passenger backrest and luggage rack you'll have 1000.00 in that.

if you own a 2010 you need the uplift kit and the lock. Those two pieces will set you back another $140 but don't worry, they're on back order until 10/1

The trunk looks great in the videos floating around, can't wait to see one in person and look inside.

Well, at least I can show you the lid, had one on hand to make the new Winged V and Retro racks for you CC and CR folks. I will say, man, is this one big roomy trunk!

These racks will be available in a week in black or chrome.

Anyone have one yet ?? If so how much stuff can you put in it ?? AND please lets don't hear the Standard Victory response, " it'll fit two full face helmets" I don't give a damn about two helmets, I want a small cooler and alot of clothes and a leather jacket to fit in there.......haha

Steve, having had only the lid here, all I'll tell you is it is even bigger than the Vision trunk. Hell, I wanted to fl;ip it over, grab a fishing buddy, throw an outboard on the lid and take it out on the lake fishing! This thing is bigger than I'd have imagined. I've heard besides two full face helmets that at least a 12 pack of tall necks will still fit in there and with some room to spare.

I had two full face helmets in my XC trunk... along with a full set of raingear, two pair of gloves, a six pack of beer, and a bottle of scotch.
And I could fit more.
It's an optical illusion - looks perfectly ordinary from the outside and matches the lines of the rest of the bike.
When you open it you discover the black hole.

And it'll hold even more once I get my Winged V rack from the man himself, CycleOps!

OK, the new racks are on our website. Passenger backrest racks are currently in stock in black and chrome units should start trickling out from the chromer any day. Trunk racks in black will be ready any day and in chrome 10-12 days.

i wonder if it truely is bigger than the vision trunk as you can store things Under the trunk where the CD player goes. i can fit a shock pump, tools, gun, face mask, and still have space left inside the cd player spot. this way i am not using the trunks space for things i dont normally use.

I finally saw one in person, yes it's bigger than the Vision tour pack, very close to OR as large a a Harley King Tour Pak. I really liked the way it looks too...............AND the saddle bags, we already knew this: the biggest I've seen.............

It's wider but not as deep.

Cool little tidbit from Victory: They purposefully opened up the back of the speaker enclosures in the trunk with holes that allow the entire trunk to act as a bass cabinet. This greatly improved the low frequency response of the speakers.

Actually, if you cover them holes the speakers (factory or upgraded), the sound is a whole lot better in all frequency ranges.
I did a before - after sound check and it is really noticeable.

They are nice but they are so dang heavy. I finally took mine off after 4 or 5 months and the bike feels 200 lbs lighter. I'm just going to use it for longer trips and look for a good used backrest.
