Picked up my new Ness XCountry Friday. Had an 08 Vision I put about 30k on and traded it for a BMW F800ST.

After riding it for a while decided I needed more comfort. Went to the dealer with the intention of buying a used 2010 Vision he had but he took me to the back to show me this Ness still in the crate and I could not resist.

Put about 350 miles on it Saturday and love it. Not as comfortable as the Vision and I think the Vision handles better but I live the looks and the my wife loves the bags.

My wife had the first Cross Country my dealer sold but she crashed it almost exactly a year ago and never was comfortable on it afterwards. We sold it and bought her a smaller bike but mostly she rides with me now.

Mine is #199. I am not sure how many are being made.

There's only suppose to be 200 so it looks like you might have gotten the next to last one out the door. Mine is 120

You will love it. I have # 80 I too fell in lust with this bike the moment I saw it. Ndabunka, I thought 350 were being made. Could be wrong. Limited number anyway. Only two in my area.

I saw #198 and now 199. I have not heard of any beyond that count but I could be wrong. I read the 200 figure in some review or Polaris marketing material when they first came out with the Ness version. It may have even have been on the Ness site. I don't really recall. Of course, I could always be in error and/or they could have decided to increase the production run. I don't recall if any other models exceeded the 200 count but I am hoping that they stay below that figure as it does add exclusivity to these bikes and helps keep their resale higher than the standard XCs (but even those have a high resale now due to their desirability). I personally don't plan on selling mine for many, many years (if ever) but you know know what life is going to throw your way so until then, ENJOY THE RIDE guys!

I don't have mine yet but here are a few pics of it at the dealership for those seeking visual stimulation. They are in the process of adding the trunk to it this week and I get it next week... Can't wait!
