My brother sent me this picture. Looks like lowers on all four. Any ideas?

Good catch hawkeye - Your brother must have some connections or have simply been at the right place at the right time.

Those look like the round XR highway bars under there. Not the forged XC. I know that you can just as easily put either set of crash bars on these bikes but it would be nice to simply have a "hard lowers" option for the existing XC's we all already have. I know I for one, would buy them for cool weather travel (assuming they aren't something ridiculous like $1,995 or something). Keep the price in the sub $600-$800 range (retail) may give us a street price around $450 to $500 and I don't think Victory could make them fast enough to keep up with the orders flooding in.

If they FORCE you to use the older, rounder XR highway bars well.......well, that's just not right as it would (1) drive up the cost and (2) remove one of the most attractive (and commented) feature of the Cross Country's (Those beautiful Forged Bars).

And I'm not just saying that because I have the Ness ones with the routed-out chrome either...maybe I am. Who knows?

Also notice that the screen is HUGE on every one of those bikes. Sorry, but those look "hideous" if you ask me. Hopefully, those HUGE windscreen's are optional otherwise you are going to have the same problem we have today of nearly every XC rider removing the screen to put on one that works better (and NOBODY that I have seen has gone to THAT extreme a tall windscreen on their XCs so far...)

Victory Engineers talk about the new air management system (uppers & lowers) on the Cross Country in the video on our front page. Cool stuff.
