I completed the WI1000.

This 1053 mile ride took 20 hours and 48 minutes to complete but it was about 25% interstate and 75% two-lane country roads through a lot of small towns with stop signs, red lights and 25 mph speed limits.

This ride also included a stop (#7) at the Polaris engine plant in Osceola.
I had to add extra gas stops to prove that I did the ride all in-state.

Had a low of 38 degrees and light rain to a high of 62 and sun
I left early Monday morning (12:37) and was back Monday night. It was a fun day ride.

This will bring my total to 16 IBA certifications from 14 rides and my total miles ridden while doing IBA rides is 35,815.

XRsteve - 2013-09-18 1:12 PM Excellent ride........

Thank you!

There is a separate pin for the WI1000 and I am looking forward to adding it to the collection.

All of the two-lane roads and small towns really added to the challenge.

Stop #7 on the map is Osceola, WI, the birthplace of Victory. The Polaris engine plant was also one of my stops in Osceola.

Nice!! but I think the Vision needs its own IBA category, the IBA rides are just too easy on the Vision..its too good of a bike!

I have been thinking about a ride for next year. Still trying to convince myself that it's possible.

This is one IBA ride that I would like to do. Go counter clockwise, I would be starting in the La Crosse area and I think 5-6 hours later I would be in the Green Bay area, starting at midnight would be perfect to miss most traffic in the SE corner... I've got all winter to plan :-)

I did essentially the same thing, same distance in 2012. I love the distances!
Everyone including riding friends think I'm nuts too. They just don't get it.

are the IBA rides mapped for each state? or do you have to submit your own?
