I bought a PC-V from them, they sent me the wrong one, then didn't want to take it back (un-used /un-open).

Once I convinced them to take it back, they took a 20% restocking fee.

There mistake and I loss money . . .

Did they not agree that it was NOT the one you ordered?

key question is .... did you request them to send you the correct one? Hard to believe that any vendor wouldn't send the correct one once you identified that they sent the wrong one.

I went to website. Seemed straightforward. Click on PC-V for cruisers then scroll down to 09-14 Vision. Seems like if they sent wrong one they should exchange it for Free. Did you keep a printed receipt ?? Sometomes these superdooper cheap websites aren't all they claim..........Especially if you have any problems........

Everyone needs to read the posts on the other sites. THIS IS ONLY HALF THE STORY.

Hmmm. As Paul Harvey would say, "And that's the rest of the story".

It would appear that MrMaxx might be liable for a libel and slander charge.

To his credit, the generic description "Victory 09-14 106 Models" does identify his bike. The product's naming convection is ambiguous. It describes a generic part for all 2009-2014 106ci Victories. They should make the names specific to each bike to avoid further ambiguity and confusion.

"... Victory 09-14 106 Models (19-002) and not the Victory 10-14 Crossroads/Crosscountry (19-009) ...".

From the vendor's post, it sounded like the vendor did the right thing and offered a "FREE" swap for the correct part.

Pretty much what I just posted on the VOG.  It wouldn't take a decent webmaster more than a couple of minutes to change that to "Victory 09-14 106" steel frame bikes".

I can see a legitimate ordering error on MotoMummys part but when they offered to swap out the part for free (or at least at no additional charge), I'd have taken it, thanked them, asked them to revise the drop down menu and rode on.
