do you have any pictures or advice on how to tape things up. I have plasti-dipped a few pieces on the vision and I am at a loss on how to tape around the caliper and fender. any advice picture information would be great.

Sorry, I didn't take any photos with it taped. I bought 2 different widths of the blue painters tape and taped everything with that. I covered the entire disc brake, and the caliber. I taped up the edge of the fender and did use some brown paper to cover the fender. I sprayed the hex nuts too as I wanted everything black. Its no problem getting it off if I ever need to. I also taped up the reflector. I did get some overspray on the fender, but it comes right off. The 2 unpainted nuts on each side are on the fender. I might be doing those next.

Is there anything special to removing the wheel? When you put it back on, do you have to do anything special to align it or is just simply torque the bolts back down and go?

And how has cleaning bugs etc been on it since you did it?

Nope. Take off, put back on. Just make sure the direction of the tire is facing the same way when you put it back on. (Arrow on tire)

yes you should mark left and right wheel spacers. Stick a screw driver in the break pads and spread them open. Axle torque is 52 pounds

I've only done my gauge bezel so far. For those of you who have done the forks, how is cleaning with the dip? Here in WI we get lots of bugs on the forks and fender etc. Does plastidip clean up easily ?
