As some of you may have heard. After almost 10 years at Polaris of Gainesville. I have moved on. I am in the process of opening my own shop here in the Gainesville area. My goal is to have a full service facility that will not only specialize in performance, but also do custom accessories, lighting and general service. This is the start of an exciting endeavor, but it is not my first time in bossiness. I would love the opportunity to work on your bikes, and with you. As always my PM box is always open to questions or assistance.
Now the first thing to come from SOUTHERN MOTORWORX is a sponsor of the South East Victory Rally.
Here is the trophies I whipped up today

All the best Kevin. The reputation you carry on this site will make me a customer if I'm in the area or decide on a significant performance upgrade.

Nice job on the awards.

Excuse me for having to ask, but are those all Victory cams? If so, I'm guessing that a bike from any manufacturer could end up taking the award, and I have to wonder if there will be any comments about it.

Yup they are all Vic cams from both generations of the Freedom motor. Since it is the South East VICTORY Rally. My guess is that the winners will be Vic's.

I think a lot of shops are struggling and business is down even though the government has told us for years the recession is over, but who believes what the government tells you anyway. Good luck with the new place, Vlad.

Kevin, best of fortune in this new business adventure. I know it's tough owning and operating a motorcycle shop. My brother and I had one back in the 90's in North Carolina. That being said I'm sure you will be successful. The southeast has needed a performance shop catering to Victory products for a while. For most it's way too far to go to Lloyds ( New York ), The Vic Shop ( Iowa ) or KMC ( Rhode Island ).. Looking forward to the success of Southern Motorworx..........Looking forward to hearing about perfectly Xtuned 110's and 116's running around the south.

Let us know when your company website is up and running...........steve

I think you have found a good niche market. That is something every new business wants to have but so few really do have it. In your case your expertise and reputation are a thing you can use to build your new business. I wish you all of the best.
