Shouldn't matter, any of the nano or itouch models will work equally well. Only consideration is if its a new generation with the lightning connector, you'll need to adapt it back to the 33-pin iPod integration cable that Victory sells.

I have an 08 Vision and the only trouble I have had with an Ipod on the bike is the capacity of the Ipod. I had a 4 gig last year and everything was cool. I upgraded to a 30 gig this year. I am not even sure of the generation. I filled that 30 gig and thought I won't have to listen to the same song twice all summer. It turns out that the 30 gig has a hard drive and a mechanical means to read the hard drive and bumps on the road can cause itto stop reading the drive. No music. I found that out by taking it back the the store and explaining that the Ipod worked well in every situation except when I was on my bike. Fortunately I was able to trade in for a 16 gig. I have loaded that up and that has worked great. 250 miles of Vision and rock and roll heaven yesterday.

I have an 09 VV premium and went with the updated Victory black cable specifically for the 09. I bought the new Nano Ipod, plugged it in with the 33 pin adapter through Fry's Electronics and Nano said "Device not supported." I had the dealer check to make sure the software upgrade was installed, which it was. My buddy plugged in his 4th gen IPOD touch and it worked fine.

I thought I should pass this along for any folks that have an 09 because the new Nano did not work. Good thing I bought it through Craigslist vs paying retail . I use the Nano when I go the gym and it serves this purpose well so it wasn't a complete loss.

I have the nano Gen 3, 4gig. The short and fat ipod. It works great. When I plug it in, it even displays a victory logo on the screen. It also worked on my 08 Vision.

The only 30 pin to Lightning adapter that seems to work is the official one from Apple. Hit or miss with the aftermarket adapters.

Any iPod without a HDD works fine. I'm on my 3rd one (5th or 6th gen Nano...16gb). I buy all mine used and the power/data ports have all broken. I don't solder well (and definitely not those tiny connections) so it's been cheaper to buy another.
