I had the inlet boots separate from the aluminum plate on my 08 Vision and it caused a fast idle during warm up. An easy way to check for a vacuum leak is to spray carb cleaner around the boots with the engine running if you have a leak the rpm will change when you spray the cleaner.

My boots on my 2008 also separated. They looked fine until you reached in with a fingernail and tugged at the rubber. It would pull away from the aluminum. It isn't supposed to.

Throttle Body Adapter. Part number 1203866.
