You have to read it for yourself. If you are using a cam recorder and get pulled, don't be stupid and put to put the video on the internet. 5 years, for what? Don't we have more serious crimes than recording a LEO? |

Houston, Texas | I don't believe he was charged with the video....I think they have a quirky law in that state regarding audio....apparently both parties of the conversation have to have knowledge that the audio is being recorded....guess he didn't advise the trooper he was recording the audio.
Here in Texas only ONE party has to be aware that the audio is being recorded....the guy/gal doing the recording counts as that one person.

| How the cop did not see the huge camera on his helmet is ridiculous. Also the cops actions where inappropriate. I conceal carry and if someont came at me like that without identifying himself that my not be good. The cop was reckless imo. |
